Vision
Statement*:
Our home is Papakōlea, a community where the spirit of lokahi
and aloha inspires self-reliance and participation t share knowledge
of our culture and respect of Ohana.
Residents assume a responsibility to create a community with
strong identity, spirit and pride. Our participation nurtures
our growth in education, economic well-being and improved health
conditions for generations to come.

Mission / Organization
Incorporated in 1983 as a non-profit community organization in
the State of Hawaii, the Papakōlea Community Association (PCA)
directs its efforts toward the betterment of all resident living
on Papakōlea Hawaiian Homestead Land. PCA exists to serve and
protect the interests of all Native Hawaiian Beneficiaries living
on homestead land.
PCA is a membership organization. Membership is open to all homes
in the Papakōlea, Kewalo and Kalawahine communities. Membership
dues of $12.00 per calendar year are assessed from each household
of the community. Dues help to support community activities such
as the annual Prince Kuhio Day Parade, Papakōlea Summer Fun Finale,
annual membership dues to the State Council of Hawaiian Homestead
Associations and Ahupua’a o Oahu.
