  • Pediatric Residents - Cultural Competency Project

    First year pediatric residents spend one rotation community to acquaint themselves in working in community. Residents are given a windshield assessment of area and rest of time with youth in the after school program; tutoring, answering questions from kids on health and other issues.

  • Safe Haven in Papakōlea

    Support group meeting for men and women in recovery from alcohol and substance abuse. Attendees come from around the island and at times also include men and women from nearby transitional houses (i.e. Matlock, Waiawa, Laumaka)
